  24.  FM is a one-year old group of musicians dedicated to the task of providing
  25.  the scene quality musical productions. We try to be more than just your 
  26.  everyday music group, by working on many of our productions in cooperation
  27.  with each other. Since our creation in early February 1995, we have been 
  28.  working hard to explore both our artistic talents, and to break new ground 
  29.  in the area of digitally tracked music.

  43.                          · ∙ [ The Story so Far ] ∙ ·

  45.  FM was formed in February 1995 by Necros and Mellow-D after chatting on
  46.  the phone one day and realizing that starting a good scene music group would
  47.  be both fun and productive for the both of us. I called up Basehead and he
  48.  seemed to be quite pleased with the idea and offered his services. And thus
  49.  with a solitary 'woop' FM was begun. Originally we wanted to call the group
  50.  'o' per Mellow-D's request, but soon we invited Big Jim to join and he
  51.  suggested 'FM' as a name. Luckily by this time we had acquired the perfect
  52.  number of musicians, and the name stuck.
  53.  
  54.  I quickly released "Realization II" under the FM label, and things began to
  55.  move along nicely. After a few more releases by members, Mellow-D called and 
  56.  said he had invited Purple Motion to join. At that time I became aware of 
  57.  just how fortuitous it was that both 'four' and 'five' started with the letter
  58.  'F'. So thus we became Five Musicians.
  59.  
  60.  Things now were looking great, and Mellow-D released a musicdisk compilation of
  61.  older tunes he had written called 'Kaktoos'. Weeks passed and the FM e-mail
  62.  address was activated at fm@pot.hole.fi (Mellow-D's computer). Unfortunately, 
  63.  we realized that Purple Motion was proving to be both unreachable and
  64.  unproductive, so we politely dismissed him from the group.
  65.  
  66.  Thus we were once again Four Musicians. After languishing in this deplorable
  67.  state for a few more weeks, we came upon a brilliant young musician from OTM
  68.  named Stalker. Listening to his stuff, we realized that we had to snatch up
  69.  this fine young fellow before he fell prey to the sinister lurkings of
  70.  some european demo group. He accepted our invitation, and there was once again
  71.  happiness and joy in the land of the music scene.

  73.  Then in the midst of the very poor The Party 1995, we acquired yet another
  74.  brilliant shooting star.  Having made the Hit Song of TP5, Spaceman, Vic
  75.  joined FM in a glorious setting of 3000 computer nerds. Stalker left us
  76.  to pursue other musical lines somewhat after, so we are back down to four
  77.  active members once again.

  79.  This bring us to the current day, when FM has finally been recognized as
  80.  a force to be reckoned with. Our greetings to all other music groups across 
  81.  the world; we invite you to join us in bringing melodic bliss to people
  82.  worldwide.
